- Description: The fine Mzeno (inserted here for comparison) was recorded in the same village just 14 years earlier, and is a useful guide to any change of style during that period. For purposes of this recording, the verses were not repeated as is usual with Mzeno. This Mzeno of Chief Mahikete (Canda) is about the payment of poll tax and the wish of the people to escape payment by running along to Mnyokowela in the Panda district, as they did in the old days when fighting against Shangaans. But, alas today the white men are at Panda also, so it would be no good. Orchestral dance with Timbila xylophones orchestra
