It was originally famous for the fact that one of the mines, Shinkolobwe, was the first place in the world from which the famous Curie family obtained the radium for their experiments. At Panda, there is a museum of mineral crystals discovered in the Katanga mines. Kawidi dance with 2 goblet drums, pinned, weighted, with mirlitons, hand beaten.
